SMS Terms & Conditions

Turtur Home Loans (NMLS #2836215) operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with prospective and current mortgage clients. These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) explain how that program works. By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive text messages from us — whether through our online forms, by texting us first, or otherwise expressly opting in — you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Program Description

Turtur Home Loans uses SMS/MMS messaging to:

Respond to inquiries you submit through our website, ads, or phone calls
Send pre-approval status updates, document requests, and loan-application updates
Schedule and confirm appointments and calls
Send rate updates, mortgage program information, and follow-up messages related to your inquiry
Notify you of important account or loan-file events

Messages are sent only to mobile numbers that have expressly opted in. We do not sell or share your mobile number for third-party marketing.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity and stage in the mortgage process. You may receive up to several messages per week during an active inquiry or loan application, and occasional follow-up messages otherwise.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier’s plan. Turtur Home Loans does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of our SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After you reply STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and will not send you any further marketing or follow-up SMS messages. To opt back in, reply START or contact us at (754) 224-5704.

Opting out of SMS marketing does not opt you out of transactional or loan-servicing communications related to an active loan application, which you authorized when you applied. To opt out of those, you must withdraw your loan application directly with us.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is compatible with major U.S. mobile carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint (T-Mobile), US Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and most MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the authorized user or account holder of the mobile number you provide to participate in our SMS program. By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Privacy

Information you share via SMS is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number or SMS content. Service providers we use to deliver messages (such as our CRM and SMS gateway) process your information solely on our behalf under contract.

Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or, where appropriate, by SMS or email.
